Martin Yeoman was born in England in 1953. In 1974 he was taught by Jane Dowling, and as a result became a guest student with Peter Greenham at the Royal Academy Schools, 1975-9. In 1986 he held his first solo exhibition at the Highgate Gallery, which was followed by a visit to the Gulf States as artist in attendance to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

This exhibition is the result of two recent trips to India, and includes temples, palaces and landscapes around New Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
