Post-War British Art on Vortic

Past exhibition
2 - 30 April 2021
Overview
Post-War British Art on Vortic

Offer Waterman is delighted to take part in the second edition of Vortic's London Collective which brings together over 20 of the capital’s leading commercial galleries.

VISIT THE SHOW

Each gallery is presenting a virtual exhibition on the Vortic platform, with new shows launching every few days until the end of April. They can be viewed on a smart phone using the Vortic Collect app or online at vortic.art.

Our display includes newly acquired and existing works from our inventory which we felt would benefit from being seen in a more expansive virtual gallery space. Thematic strands which run through this collection include the boundary between drawing and painting and painting and sculpture, gestural mark-making and the sensational impact of pure colour. Some artists take a more obviously post-modern approach, by adopting a systematic working process or through art-historical appropriation, and many have affinities with American art produced in the same period.

All of the exhibits are available for sale, please contact us by email or phone to find out more. Prices can also be found on the launch page under the heading 'Artworks'. 17 St George Street is currently closed to visitors, but individual pictures may be viewed by appointment, in accordance with current health guidelines.
