We were greatly saddened to learn of the death of William Turnbull on Thursday 15 November. Turnbull was one of Britain's most significant post-war artists. He enjoyed success as a sculptor, painter and printmaker, exhibiting extensively in Britain and throughout the world over a career spanning sixty years. He will be greatly missed by everyone involved in British art.
