Gallery artist Tarka Kings is one of the artists particpating in a new exhibition at Chatsworth House. This show was scheduled to open on 21 March but in line with many other public events will now be delayed for a few weeks.
The exhibition will share stories about the fascinating lives of people associated with Chatsworth through the placement of selected portraits and objects. Focusing on the traces of lives in the house, the exhibition presents objects in new ways, demonstrating how past figures continue to resonate in our lives today. Throughout Chatsworth House, the exhibition shares the stories of family members, servants, friends, and artists, as visitors are invited to think and look at portraits, people, and the objects that they lived with.
